PREPRINT/OSF HARMONIZATION (2026-09-18)
- Documentation wording aligned with the protocol order: debate -> partner evaluation -> argument recall/evaluation -> T3.
- Journal-target wording removed from the manuscript; package remains journal-neutral.
- No statistical result or analytic code was changed by this documentation harmonization.

MOVICI Article 3 reproducibility package — v5 changes
Date: 2026-09-17

1. Corrected canonical attitude-score bounds used by distribution diagnostics
- The v4 analysis incorrectly supplied -32 to +32 as the global-attitude floor/ceiling range.
- The canonical stored signed scoring implies the theoretical subscale ranges SSA -18 to -2, VAHC +2 to +18, VASA -18 to -2, and EP -8 to +8.
- The correct theoretical overall stored-score range is therefore -42 to +22.
- v5 defines ATTITUDE_TOTAL_MIN = -42 and ATTITUDE_TOTAL_MAX = 22 and uses these constants in T1/T2/T3 global-attitude distribution diagnostics.

2. Added an explicit attitude-range QC guard
- Before inference, the script now verifies that every finite T1/T2/T3 global attitude score lies within -42 to +22.
- The existing check that the global attitude score equals SSA + VAHC + VASA + EP at each occasion is retained.

3. Scope of the correction
- This correction affects only floor/ceiling and near-floor/near-ceiling diagnostics for the global attitude score.
- It does not change H1/H2 mean-change estimates, CR2/Satterthwaite inference, Pitman-Morgan tests, bootstrap contrasts, subscale tests, H3, C1, RQ1, or the baseline-balance models.
- All v4 additions providing temporal symmetry for subjective knowledge and attitudes (T1->T2, T1->T3, T2->T3) are retained unchanged.

4. Documentation
- README, data audit, public data dictionary, and measures/scoring documentation now state the canonical stored attitude-score ranges explicitly.
