I am a sociologist of digital technologies and artificial intelligence working at the intersection of social sciences and cognitive sciences. My research focuses on information search, learning, metacognition, epistemic vigilance, computational modelling and multi-agent systems, as well as organizational transformations associated with digital technologies.

Digital Technologies & AISociology of artificial intelligence, algorithms, big data and digitally mediated organizations.
Information Search & LearningHow people search, learn, update knowledge and calibrate what they know.
Epistemic VigilanceSource evaluation, expertise recognition, epistemic trust, credit and injustice.
Computational Social ScienceAgent-based modelling of socially embedded learning and cumulative epistemic dynamics.

Current research

The main current programme is MOVICI, which combines a theoretical architecture (CAVL — Cognitive Architecture for Vigilant Learning), empirical studies of open-Web information search and cooperative/competitive debate, and agent-based modelling.

Complete academic record

This website is deliberately simple in design, but not selective in content. The detailed pages reproduce the full academic record contained in the October 2026 CV: publications, manuscripts, reports, conference communications, public-science talks, scientific responsibilities, event organization, collaborations, teaching, supervision, peer review, skills and academic positions.

Publication titles, conference titles, official course titles and student dissertation titles are retained in their original language when that is the official title. Navigation and explanatory text are in English.
